About My Blog
This blog is about my own personal home-lab, its set-up and how I use it. I will also blog about various tools, scripts or applications that I have written or come across. Occasionally I may blog about other technologies that interest me, or that I am trying out.
I have been a system administrator for almost 15 years. I first started in a small D.I.Y. company working with Windows NT 4 servers and Windows 95 clients (and even some Windows 3.11 ones too). From this humble beginning, I progressed up through the Windows versions and increased my knowledge of various other server technologies – Exchange, SQL, as well as Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp and VMware ESX(i) Server.
I now work for one of Europe’s largest IT companies, within their secure cloud offering. Working on Windows 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 servers with VMware ESXi hosts.
